In order to qualify for a boiler grant through the governments ECO scheme, there are certain criteria which need to be met.
Customer Eligibility Criteria
In order to qualify for funding towards energy saving home improvements from us you must:
Own your own home or rent from a private landlords and also
Qualify or live with with someone who qualifies in either section A, B or C
A – Receive one of the following benefits
Pension Credit Guarantee Credit Element
Income-related employment and support allowance (ESA)
Income-based jobseeker’s allowance (JSA)
Working and Child Tax Credits
OR B – Receive Child Benefits
On the condition as to income is that the claimant’s annual income from all sources does not exceed the amount set out in the table below based on the number of qualifying children for which the person(s) is responsible:

You must be the home owner, or private tenant. Funding is not available to those in council owned properties.
Your property must be on a mains gas, oil or LPG supply, the boiler looking to be replaced must be at least 5 years old. A boiler between 5-8 years old must carry a fault which effects its overall efficiency and operation. It must be deemed by an engineer to be beyond ‘economical’ repair.
